Steve Braitwait presented at the Wisconsin Public Utility Institute’s (WPUI) Energy Utility Basics Course that took place during the week of October 20. 2014 in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Braithwait’s presentation discussed the roles of dynamic, time-based electricity pricing programs and demand response (DR) programs in utility planning and operations. He also described evidence of how customers modify their usage patterns when they participate in dynamic pricing programs or DR programs.
