CA Energy Consulting staff have been on the frontier of innovative energy service design for more than thirty years.  Our work in the field began with basic research to assisting utilities to implement rates that better serve the needs of customers and the energy industry. Our application of basic economic principles led to pioneering work in the 1980’s and 1990’s on innovative rate designs, such as time-of-use rates, interruptible/curtailable rates, real-time pricing, and fixed bill products. CA Energy innovation has expanded today to include green energy and service to electric vehicles. Because our products are well founded in market economics, many of our innovations have become standard offerings in the industry.
