Costing and Pricing Ancillary Services

CA Energy Consulting has developed analytic tools for the costing and efficient pricing of ancillary services, such as regulation, spinning reserves, supplemental reserves, backup reserves, and voltage control, at both the supplier level and the user level. We have quantified the value of the ancillary services that might be provided by distributed resources, including demand response resources. We have also drafted utility tariffs for ancillary services.
