David Wade

Employed by EPB on April 25, 1983 as a Line Helper, David returned to school and received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He has held several positions of increasing responsibilities including Assistant Manager, Overhead Line Manager, Process Improvement Manager, and Vice President of Engineering and Construction. In April of this year, David was promoted to the position that he currently holds, Vice President of Electric Systems. In this role, David is responsible for providing electric service to 163,000 customers, reliably, efficiently and courteously. Responsibilities include design, planning, construction, maintenance and operations of EPB’s electric system.
